Ian Thompson

This collection of Still-Life paintings have a 'Last Supper' theme running throughout. But on another level they question western societies highly developed taste for decorative food and their desire to present as an art form rather than a necessity to survive, as others scramble in the dirt for crumbs. Ian Thompson is a member of Edinburgh’s Artesian Gallery. His work has been bought for Public Collections including The Smith Art Gallery Stirling and he has buyers in the UK, France and the USA.
