Mairi Clark is a Scottish landscape painter who is inspired by the Scottish coastline. She paints in a semi abstract style, sometimes with a limited palette." it is important to me to capture a free and energetic mood in my work" After gaining a B.A.Hons degree in Fine Art Painting at Central St Martins School of Art London in 1986, Mairi now lives in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland where she has worked as a contemporary oil painter over 9 years with solo and mixed exhibitions all over Scotland and England including London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, the highlands and in many other art galleries throughout the UK.
