My work consists of an eclectic mix of textured components. The textures which I create are inspired by several elements including the Japanese textile company, Nuno Coperation and Japanese textiles artists.

I mainly work with silver but also use 18ct yellow gold and 22ct yellow gold for a contrast in colour. I also use steel wire to make intricate brooches and large fashion neckpieces.

In March/April 2004, I travelled to Japan with fellow jewellers, Julie Allison, Emma Chalmers, Emma Kinnell and Aideen Loughran. This study trip was very inspiring as we visited Nuno Coperation. This trip has influenced new designs and work.
