Sharon was born in Ayrshire in 1946.Art and music quickly became and still are her first loves. She studied piano to a teaching level with A.B.R.S.M.,but decided to follow a career in pharmacy.It is accepted that art and music go hand in hand and Sharon is no exception to this. Never losing her love of art, Sharon has been attending Forth Valley College as a student, and has for some time been painting in her own studio. Since 2003 she has regularly exhibited throughout Central Region. Sharon infuses her paintings of Scotland and Italy with colour and light, working mainly from sketchbooks and photographs.
