Stuart Moir studied Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone. Main influences vary from Sargent, The Fauves, Feud and Latrec. He creates bold and colourful figurative compositions with the vivid palette of Unison pastels. His oil paintings also have a strong understanding of shape and colour.
