Tom Scott B.Arch F.R.I.A.S. Architect and artist. Member of the Scottish Society of Architect Artists. Born in Glasgow. Studied architecture in Glasgow and at Glasgow School of Art. Practiced architecture in Scotland, England, Ireland and overseas before retiring to concentrate on painting. Lives in Milngavie and has a cottage and studio on the Isle of Arran, where much of his painting is done. Tom writes, "Probably as a result of many years sailing on Scotland's west coast, I have an affinity for the Western Isles - the seascapes and changing moods of sea and sky and mountain - for the light and colour - for the never ending variety and challenge to be found in Scotland."
